Time to say goodbye and move on

Having lectured for nearly 1.5yrs, i thought its time to continue my journey. I have tendered my resignation at Nanyang Polytechnic and would be soon joining Yokogawa Engineering Asia Pte Ltd, Singapore as Research Executive Engineer. Will be attached with the R&D section and leading a team to identify areas for improvement interms of process controls in a chemical process plant. Implementing MPC over APC. Sounds more challenging and promising and hence decided to leave Nanyang.

C'mon letz start it over again - but better this time!

What a way to end the year 2006 ! I am referring to the end of Saddam's saga!! OK.. i am not challenging the verdict, yes he deserves it, but isnt't a justice given in a haste! Myself and my wife were greatly moved watching the last video clips of Saddam. Poor guy, he couldnt believe himself in the gallows and before he could realise... he's gone. We could'nt control ourselves watching Saddam being placed in a noose and later his white-shrouded body. It is just another good example of someone accomplishing his own personal vegenance in the name of "war against terrorism". My question is that, "Is this the same way the Americans deliver Justice to everyone in thier home land if found guilty? If this is true, what they have done to Warren Anderson, Union Carbide's CEO at the time of the Bhopal disaster (2nd Dec, 1984, responsible for the death of thousands of innocent indians !"....and a lot more examples to list here. It may not be a surprise if the dirty white's withdraw the troops anytime from now, for thier true mission has been accomplished!!

What we could learn from here is that....NO MATTER HOW GREATER POWERS YOU HOLD IN LIFE, MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE STILL A HUMAN AND NOT THE ALMIGHTY ! DONT EVER EVEN PRETEND TO BE A ONE 'COS YOU PROVE YOU ARE STUPID....

Wish and Pray that this new year, 2007, would bring happiness and prosperity across the globe that would wash away the sad memories of 2006.

Let's try to start over again....its high time to revise your elementary moral science, thirukkural, aathichudi.....PLEASE

Warning - Phishing emails - MSN PROMO AWARD - part 3 !!

Another email in my inbox.It is an another lottery variant of the 419 style of scam - uses the fake promise of a lottery win to eventually lure victim and trick them into giving away their bank details, or by requesting payments for 'administration costs'.

This time they use the logos of MSN and Yahoo to look as if it is a real notice !!!

A Refreshing Day at Singapore Botanical Gardens

Yes it was indeed a refreshing day (24th Nov'06) for the entire family. Chitra was free from the daily cooking and house keeping activities, Tejas and Neeraj get a chance to explore the nature after a long time (True indeed... where got chance to appreciate nature's beauty in Singapore?) and for me, a good opportunity to have real fun with the family after a very long time....... (norm in singapore !!) We almost spend the entire day in the gardens. It was a cool and pleasant day with some showers in the late afternoon. We didnt feel the tiredness after walking for the whole day. Though cannot name most of the orchids and plants, managed to still have a good conversation with Tejas and Neeraj. They had good time playing in the morning, a sound nap in the afternoon and a pleasant evening........
