Wake up India
Hi friends, Long time no see !!! Lots of things happening around here in singapore. But first of all i should vent out my feelings (polite word for "anger") about the performance of the indian team. Billions back in india wrote, sang, danced and what not.... "Lage Raho Chappel Bai!!". Don't know whom to blame exactly. The Players(for a consistent inconsistency in all most all the departments of the game) or the Board of Selection(for probably gambling on players who were not in form and yielding to pressures from higher ups), The coach(for being such a dumb and lame guy), The Media (who blew the trumphets so loud that even those who ignored the game started to watch the game) or we the idiots. We, the public, dont trust our near and dears but we trusted all these cowards. I dont know whether the team would learn something from such a shameful defeat but atleast we had a good lesson learnt from here - Dont support anyone blindly. And the media should be blamed for linking the game with patriotism. Like to strongly condemn them for making such a cheap publicity and make fun of patriotism in order to make cheap money......
Yesterday was watching "Extra Innings" on Sony Max before the South Africa and Srilanka match. I didnt exactly get the name of one of the gentleman from srilanka. He said something that the BCCI to consider carefully, "Why not we send some senior players from the glorious team that brought home the world cup rather than sponsoring someone who has no knowledge in cricket". Sounds logical and seems that this would definetly increase the morale and confidence level in the team.
Nothing is too late or too early. Wake up india (includes members of BCCI and Team-India, The Media and Public). Kuch tho karlo yar....

Would it be another Nightmare for Billions back at home ?
Is it a bad omen? My man.... the results are pretty clear already ! Luck is not on our side. Should i switch off the TV and go to bed? Dravid lost the crucial toss and pushed to bat on a humid pitch, humid ground and humid atmosphere.
Wondering whatz happening to all the boys back in the dressing room! The captain and the coach seems to be still experimenting and would continue to do so... but until when ? Cannot understand what they were doing so far ? more importantly what for they were experimenting? I, like all other back in home, was thinking that all these experiments are inline with the so called "preparation for this mega event"! But seems nothing happening in our favour...probably the cricket management dosent seem to understand when someone said, WHEN YOU ARE NOT CLEAR WHERE U ARE GOING, ANY ROAD WOULD TAKE U THERE...Replacing Harbajan with Kumble, Tendulkar open with Saurav and what not.....don't replace Shewag with Dinesh Karthik!!!!
If given a chance, i would like to blame the dark clouds of UNCERTAINITY that is glooming over indian cricket. If only the team has FAITH in them which the billions is having over the men in blue, they should definetly win this match.Wishing goodluck to the boys ahead of thier match against BERMUDA.
Would AP government's decision to push forward the UGADI festival bring some luck !!!! Strange one need to calculate all these silly things rather focusing on the match !

Lage Raho Chappel Bhai
I don't know whether to laugh or cry right now. We have been complaining about these group matches being predictable, well, I definitely got a surprise today. India, an experienced team, with record breaking players, beaten by....a bunch of kids. None of our players lived up to out expectations, apart from Sehwag. The only reason he did was because I never had any expectations from him to begin with!
Much to my despair, there seemed to have been a little trend in our innings - a wicket, then runs would trickle in, a wicket, then runs would trickle in, a wicket....where were the much needed partnerships? Only Ganguly, with his agonisingly slow 66 and Yuvraj with his cracking innings, managed to loosen the noose around our necks.A strong batting order ended up being a poor and pathetic list of victims for the Bangladeshi youngsters. Mortaza bowled Sehwag and trapped Uthappa. Razzak was like the cat that got the cream when he picked up Sachin in the 15th over.
What did they have? A 17 year old. What did we have? Sachin, a man with 17 years experience. The average age of the Bangladeshi players is equal to the number of centuries some of our team have! So where did it all go wrong?

Happy days at India
Had a wonderful stay at India with my family and relatives. It is always nice to meet people who raised you up and who are your well wishers, ever. The best of all is my Mother, Sister, Brother and Rajesh, one of my close friend. Very popular among our friends circle as "Puli Pee" Rajesh, probably he was wearing a tiger claw pendant. But when i met him this time, i found that it was missing.
That is Tejas & Neeraj with my mother at Tirupattur. She is very strict and straight to face. Probably that is why she suits better with her Headmistress ina Junior College profile! But believe me she really likes to move with kids. Had gone through a very rough patch in her life. Hopefully things would change when she would accompany us, here in singapore, soon - early july 2007!
That is Navalan, my co-brother with Kabilesh, Tejas and Sneha at Bangalore. Very supportive and has got a very good and balanced family.
That is Shanmuga and family together with Senu at Tirupattur. He is my immediate senior at Don Bosco but you wont get it by the way he mingles. Very supportive and encourages new ideas. He is into his private business and equally exploring newer heights.
That is Rajesh and my family at Hosur. Rajesh, Myself and six other friends used to stay in a private hostel during our B.Tech days at Annamalai Univeristy. Very cheerful and easy going guy.
That is Bharathi and Family at Chennai. Bharathi used to work with me back in singapore. A good friend with high ambitions. He is currently running a multimedia training centre at AnnaNagar, supported by his wife.

Back to Home - a short trip to India
